Hugh Robertson pledges support for Royal British Legion’s 'Time to do your bit' Campaign
Hugh Robertson served in the army for over ten years, seeing active service in Northern Ireland, The Gulf War and Bosnia, and has been a member of the Royal British Legion since 1995. He helped launch Kent’s RBL Appeal in November 2009.
The British Legion’s campaign is designed to raise the profile of military issues in advance of the forthcoming General Election. They are campaigning for better compensation and health treatment for veterans and reduced family separation and breakdown.
Hugh said, “I am delighted to support the British Legion’s Campaign to help highlight the demands placed on The Services. Recent Campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan have highlighted their importance to a new generation and I want to encourage everyone to give them their support.”
